DePaul Quad Privacy Policy

DePaul University has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the DePaul Quad online community.

Your IP address is used to help identify you and your personal profile, and to gather broad demographic information. We may use "cookies" to deliver content specific to your interests. Our site's profile form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and e-mail address), unique identifiers, and demographic information (such as zip code or age). We may use contact information from the registration form to send the user information about the university and participation opportunities in DePaul University, and specifically the DePaul Quad. The contact information may also be used to contact the parents of DePaul University students. This site makes chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public or semi-public information. As such, you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any personal information.

Security

The DePaul Quad has security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Members can access the community only after logging on with a username and password.

Choice/Opt-Out

DePaul Quad provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving electronic communications from us (at the point where we request information about the visitor).
